About us

About the agency

Lenura's Project is a team that has lived and worked in Batumi since 2012. We plan weddings in Adjara and across Georgia ourselves, with no intermediaries and no chain of agencies.

Taste and order matter to us equally. A beautiful frame rests on a schedule, on agreements and on a second plan, so behind every scene there is arithmetic: how many minutes the drive takes, when the sun goes down, where guests will find shade.

Most of our couples plan from a distance, from Ukraine, Russia and Europe. We are used to working by email, calls and video walks through venues, so that you arrive when everything is already in place.

How we work

  1. Getting acquainted

A call or an exchange of messages: the date, the number of guests, the mood, the things you will not compromise on. We ask questions and say plainly what is realistic in the time available.

  2. Concept, locations and estimate

We propose several venues and a visual concept, and put together a clear estimate by area. You can see what the budget is made of and decide what stays.

  3. Preparation

We book the venue and the vendors, handle the documents and agree the decor, the menu and the timeline. Updates arrive at an agreed rhythm, so you stay informed without a stream of messages.

  4. The wedding day

Your coordinator is at the venue from early morning: meeting the crew, holding the schedule, settling questions before they reach you. Your only task that day is to be present.

Frequently asked questions

Can we leave the whole preparation to you and arrive just for the wedding?

Yes, and that is how most of our weddings happen. Lenura's Project runs the preparation remotely: venues are shown on video, decor is agreed from sketches, and contracts and payments to vendors are handled by us. Couples usually arrive in Batumi two or three days before the celebration.

Do you work with international couples?

Yes. We plan weddings for couples from Ukraine, Russia, European countries and further afield. Foreign citizens can marry in Georgia without residency status, and we accompany that process from start to finish.

What documents are needed to register a marriage in Georgia?

Official registration at the House of Justice requires the passports of both partners with a notarised translation into Georgian, and, for anyone previously married, proof that the marriage was dissolved. The marriage certificate is issued the same day and can carry an apostille for recognition abroad.

Is an official ceremony possible outdoors rather than in an office?

Yes. A registrar from the House of Justice can conduct the official ceremony away from the office: at a venue, in a garden or by the sea. It has to be arranged in advance, and that arrangement is something we take care of.

How is the wedding budget formed?

The budget follows the number of guests, the venue you choose, the size of the crew and the scale of the decor. We build the estimate area by area so the weight of each decision is visible, and we offer versions at different depths, from an intimate ceremony to a full production. You approve the final estimate before anything is booked.

What languages does the team speak?

We work in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Georgian. The host, the registrar and the coordinator are chosen to match the language you and your guests speak.

How far in advance should we book the date?

For high season, May to October, it is best to start six to nine months ahead, since the strongest venues and photographers go first. An intimate ceremony or an elopement for two can be assembled in two or three weeks, and sometimes faster.

Do you arrange small weddings for two?

Yes. A ceremony for two is its own format rather than a scaled-down large wedding. It usually means a registration or a symbolic ceremony, a shoot across two or three locations and dinner by the sea or in the mountains.
